About The Role

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Product Delivery Senior Manager is responsible for leading demand management, the annual DTD roadmap and CAPEX planning, and governance of the Business Analysis function across Miral entities. The role ensures business and technology requests are properly captured, assessed, prioritized and aligned with strategic objectives, business value, available funding and delivery capacity. The role works with business stakeholders, DTD teams and the PMO to shape requirements, coordinate dependencies and estimates, and support the controlled transition of approved initiatives into delivery. The role also manages and develops the Business Analyst team, ensuring consistent requirements standards, effective allocation and timely completion and sign-off of BRDs.

ROLE SCOPE

Product Delivery & Roadmap management

  • Define and maintain the DTD roadmap in alignment with organisational strategy, business priorities and approved investment plans.
  • Lead the annual roadmap -planning cycle, consolidating business requests, DTD technology-upscaling initiatives and validated carry-over requirements.
  • Ensure roadmap items have a clear problem statement, high-level scope, business value, measurable success criteria, business owner and DTD owner.
  • Coordinate dependency mapping and high-level feasibility assessment across relevant DTD teams before roadmap commitments are made.
  • Coordinate CAPEX and associated OPEX estimates, ensuring the full delivery requirement is considered, including vendor, BA, PM, QA, architecture, security, data, integration and infrastructure inputs where applicable.
  • Support business and DTD prioritisation by highlighting value, urgency, readiness, dependencies, cost, resource requirements and delivery constraints.
  • Prepare and present roadmap, CAPEX, risks and decision requirements to DTD and business leadership.
  • Maintain roadmap governance and change control, recording material changes to scope, cost, priority, timing or funding.
  • Apply a product and value mindset by challenging requests to focus on the business problem, user outcome, business value and measurable benefits.
  • Lead relevant discovery, benchmarking, market research, RFI or option-assessment activities where required to shape an initiative or business case.
  • Collaborate with business owners, product owners, PMO, technical teams, architects and vendors to support the successful transition of approved initiatives into delivery.

Demand Management

  • Own and continuously improve the AlwaysOn demand-management process as the controlled entry point for new business and technology requests.
  • Oversee demand intake, ensuring submissions contain the required business problem, sponsor, scope, value, urgency, timing and budget information.
  • Lead demand triage and discovery discussions to determine whether a request should proceed as a new project, ideation, roadmap item, service request, enhancement, backlog item or closure.
  • Coordinate assessment with relevant DTD teams to understand feasibility, dependencies, resource needs, indicative cost, risks and delivery route.
  • Manage prioritisation of incoming demands in line with strategic objectives, business value, funding, readiness and available capacity.
  • Chair the bi-weekly demand forum and ensure each active demand has a clear status, owner, next action and decision requirement.
  • Communicate demand decisions, status, dependencies and required actions to business stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate demand records, dashboards and reporting, including ageing, ownership, pending decisions, budget position and overdue actions.
  • Ensure business stakeholders follow the approved demand process and that informal requests are brought into the appropriate governance route.
  • Support implementation of the demand lifecycle within the approved PPM platform, including process, workflow, field mapping, data quality and demand-to-project conversion.

Business Analysis Function

  • Lead and govern the Business Analyst team, providing direction, coaching and quality oversight.
  • Allocate BAs across demand, roadmap and in-flight initiatives based on agreed priority, readiness, complexity, domain knowledge, workload and funding.
  • Maintain visibility of BA capacity, assignments, BRD progress, milestones, blockers and contractor/funding requirements.
  • Lead regular BA stand-ups and resolve or escalate priority conflicts, stakeholder delays and capacity constraints.
  • Establish and continuously improve BA processes, templates, repositories, trackers and standards.
  • Review BRDs and related artefacts for completeness, clarity, testability, business value, scope, functional and non-functional requirements, dependencies and measurable success criteria.
  • Ensure relevant business and DTD stakeholders review requirements and that final BRDs are formally approved through DocuSign or the approved sign-off route.
  • Ensure approved requirements, assumptions, dependencies and open items are handed over to the assigned PM and delivery teams.
  • Support BA recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, development and project alignment where additional capacity is approved.

Governance, reporting & Stakeholder management

  • Maintain accurate executive and operational reporting across demand, roadmap, CAPEX, BA capacity, BRD progress, risks, dependencies and decisions.
  • Chair and manage relevant working groups and governance forums, including demand, roadmap and BA reviews.
  • Build effective relationships with business sponsors, DTD leadership, PMO, Finance, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data, Procurement, Legal and vendors.
  • Present clear options, impacts, risks and recommendations to support timely decision-making.
  • Ensure records, approvals, estimates, signed requirements and material decisions are retained in the appropriate repository for governance and audit purposes.
  • Coach and advise business stakeholders and vendors on demand, requirements and roadmap good practice.
  • Continuously improve role-related processes, procedures, templates, automation and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education and Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.

Years of Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience across digital/technology delivery, demand or portfolio management, product management, business analysis, consulting or change management.
  • 5+ years of senior stakeholder-management experience, including engagement with directors and executive leadership.
  • Proven experience in requirements discovery, process analysis and development and validation of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience leading roadmap, demand-management or investment-planning activities and coordinating CAPEX/OPEX estimates.
  • Experience leading or supervising Business Analysts, including allocation, coaching and quality assurance.
  • Experience working across waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery lifecycles.

Knowledge, Languages and Skills

  • Strong business analysis, demand-management, roadmap-planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Understanding of CAPEX/OPEX planning, business cases, high-level estimation, resource costing and financial traceability.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical-thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive and credible stakeholder adviser, able to build trust and influence across matrixed teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration, workflow and reporting tools; working knowledge of Jira and PPM tools is desirable.
  • Working understanding of technology architecture, data, integration, cybersecurity, privacy, infrastructure and operational considerations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of governance and data quality.
