About The Role

We are the people who give possibilities purpose

BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Advancing the world of health™ is our Purpose, and it’s no small feat. It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.

 Job Description

Lead the strategy, positioning and growth of BD Pyxis™ and BD ROWA™, two market-leading technologies helping hospitals transform medication management, pharmacy automation and patient safety.

Working across innovative dispensing, automation and software solutions, you'll play a key role in shaping how healthcare providers improve medication safety, efficiency and patient care. This is a highly visible role that combines portfolio strategy, customer engagement and commercial execution, giving you the opportunity to influence business outcomes while partnering with stakeholders across ANZ and globally.

At BD, possibility isn't an idea. It's what we do. We are the Makers of Possible.

As our Product Manager, Dispensing Solutions, you'll lead the localisation and execution of global marketing strategies across our dispensing portfolio, including BD Pyxis™ automated dispensing solutions and BD ROWA™ pharmacy automation technologies. Working closely with sales teams, customers and stakeholders, you'll identify market opportunities, shape go-to-market strategies and drive initiatives that support awareness, adoption and commercial growth across ANZ.

With regular customer interaction and time in the field, you'll gain a deep understanding of healthcare challenges and use those insights to help shape the future direction of our dispensing solutions business.

Your Day-to-Day

As the marketing and portfolio lead for BD Pyxis™, BD ROWA™ and related dispensing solutions, you'll work across the full product lifecycle, translating customer insights into commercial strategies that drive growth and strengthen our position in the market.

  • Develop and execute marketing plans that support portfolio growth and market awareness
  • Create compelling product positioning, messaging and value propositions tailored to the ANZ market
  • Partner with sales teams to drive customer engagement, opportunity development and revenue growth
  • Gather customer insights, competitive intelligence and market data to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Build strong relationships with pharmacy leaders, key opinion leaders and industry stakeholders
  • Develop customer-facing collateral, sales tools and value-based marketing resources
  • Lead local events, conferences, exhibitions and product launch activities
  • Collaborate with external partners to deliver co-marketing initiatives
  • Support demand forecasting, portfolio planning and lifecycle management
  • Spend time in the field with customers and sales teams to identify opportunities and strengthen execution

About You

You're a commercially minded Product Manager who enjoys understanding customer needs, translating insights into strategy and delivering initiatives that drive measurable results. You thrive in collaborative environments and are equally comfortable discussing long-term portfolio direction as you are rolling up your sleeves to execute.

  • Experience in Product Management, Product Marketing or a commercial healthcare role
  • Background within medical devices, healthcare technology, healthcare software or hospital solutions
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing product or portfolio strategies
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
  • Experience using market intelligence and customer insights to influence decision-making
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with pharmacy automation, medication management or hospital workflows will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline
