About The Role

Secure Family Visits Inc. is seeking professional and dependable Independent Contractor Supervised Visitation Monitors to provide in-person supervised visitation services throughout Muskingum County, Ohio, including Zanesville and surrounding communities .

Supervised Visitation Monitors provide neutral, child-focused observation of visits between children and designated parties. Visits may take place in community settings, approved residences, or other approved locations throughout the service area.

Monitors are responsible for maintaining continuous observation during assigned visits, promoting a safe and appropriate visitation environment, maintaining professional neutrality and boundaries, and preparing clear, objective documentation following each assignment.

This is a field-based independent contractor opportunity , not an office position. Assignments are scheduled based on client needs and contractor availability. A significant portion of supervised visitation occurs during evenings and weekends , so applicants must have availability during these times.

PAY SCALE

  • Bachelors Degree: $24.00 to $26.00
  • Masters Degree: $27.00 to $30.00

Applicants must

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Have reliable transportation and a reliable personal vehicle
  • Be willing and able to travel approximately 30 miles within and around Muskingum County
  • Have regular evening and weekend availability
  • Be dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled assignments
  • Successfully complete required background screening
  • Maintain or obtain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Complete required Mandated Reporter training
  • Complete Secure Family Visits' required training and onboarding requirements
  • Have strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Be able to remain neutral and professional when working with families experiencing conflict
  • Be comfortable working independently in community and approved in-home settings
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Be able to observe and document behaviors and statements objectively without inserting personal opinions
  • Have reliable access to a computer and internet for scheduling and documentation

Experience in human services, social work, education, healthcare, behavioral health, criminal justice, case management, child and family services, or another related field is preferred.
