Conduct regular safety supervision to ensure safe work practices are implemented and maintained at the workplace,
Support the Safety and Health Officer (SHO) in delivering safety induction programmes, safety briefings, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors,
Participate in scheduled safety meetings as required by management or client contractual obligations,
Assist in implementing safety surveillance programmes in accordance with the HSE rollout plan,
Participate in internal and external HSE audits and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions,
Report, evaluate, and where necessary, investigate all work-related incidents, accidents, and near misses,
Assist the SHO in accident investigations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions,
Support the communication and implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) policies, procedures, and standards,
Assist in developing and implementing Site-Specific Procedures (SSPs) to enhance workplace safety,
Support management in reviewing, revising, and developing HSE policies and procedures to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements,
Enforce compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and statutory requirements,
Verify that all employees and contractors possess the required safety certifications, training, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report any non-compliance to management,
Monitor workplace activities and report any unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, or regulatory violations to management.
