As Business Development Executive , you will drive revenue growth and value creation within the payments ecosystem by leveraging market intelligence, client insights, and relationship networks to identify, develop, and deliver tailored payments solutions aligned with evolving client and market needs.
Job Vacancy: Business Development Executive
In this role you will
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for priority clients and prospects to build strong partnerships and ensure effective two-way communication and issue resolution;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the payments ecosystem by analysing client needs and market trends to expand revenue streams and strengthen market presence;
- Analyse segment performance, sales data, and market intelligence to generate insights that support decision-making and contribute to the definition of business development strategies;
- Engage with clients to understand their payment needs and propose tailored solutions that enhance their experience and increase adoption of payments products and services;
- Drive cross-selling and up-selling initiatives by identifying opportunities to extend the use of payments solutions within existing client portfolios to maximise value and profitability;
- Build and leverage a strong internal and external network of stakeholders and partners to facilitate collaboration, support deal execution, and accelerate business growth initiatives;

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of payments products and propositions by participating in the design and testing of payment products;
- Providing market insights and client feedback to ensure alignment of MCB offering with evolving needs;
- Support the structuring and execution of commercial opportunities by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and successful delivery;
- Ensure adherence to risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements when developing and executing business opportunities to safeguard the organisation’s interests;
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on business development performance, pipeline, and opportunities to support transparency and informed decision-making.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of
Either
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field;
- At least 7 years' experience in a business development field, including at least 2 years in Payments Industry or strategic planning in Banking, with proven exposure to strategy formulation and decision making.
Or
- At least 7 years' experience in a business development field, including at least 5 years in Payments Industry or strategic planning in Banking, with proven exposure to strategy formulation and decision making.
- A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
