About The Role

Who are we seeking?

We are looking for a results-driven and hands-on General Manager to oversee the full operations of Play Padel Philippines. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage multiple business units, drive growth, and ensure an excellent experience for our players and members.

A premier padel sports club dedicated to growing the sport and building a strong community of players. We operate courts, training programs, tournaments, and a café, creating a holistic sports and lifestyle experience

What will you do?

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets and monitor financial health across all business units
  • Track and report sales performance and key business metrics
  • Analyze financial reports and present insights to the Board of Directors

Business Development

  • Create and implement strategies for business growth
  • Research and identify new growth opportunities
  • Develop strategic partnerships to support club growth and innovation
  • Pursue opportunities to expand the club's services and offerings

Team Leadership

  • Develop KPIs and manage staff performance
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training processes
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Business Unit heads for updates and process improvements
  • Mentor employees and conduct performance reviews
  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment

Customer Management

  • Develop and implement customer retention and acquisition strategies
  • Create systems to address player concerns, feedback, and inquiries professionally

Program & System Development

  • Develop and implement padel events including lessons, clinics, tournaments, and socials
  • Collaborate with coaches to design training programs for all player levels
  • Regularly evaluate and improve program effectiveness

Compliance & Tournaments

  • Ensure compliance with all government requirements and club policies
  • Organize club and national tournaments
  • Manage tournament committee and organization team

Hard skills

  • Financial management, business development, operations management, data analysis and reporting

Soft skills

  • Strong leadership, excellent communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, people management

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field

Experience

  • 3–5 years in a managerial or operations leadership role; experience in sports, hospitality, or events is a plus
