  • Irrigation & Pump Technician Assistant to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation and pump
  • systems. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning technical skills, and
  • being part of a team that delivers exceptional service to customers.
  • As an Irrigation & Pump Technician Assistant, you will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining valuable
  • experience in irrigation systems, pump maintenance, custom controller assembly, and field service operations
  • while contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to travel as needed (approximately 25% travel).
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following established procedures.
  • Previous irrigation, landscaping, construction, mechanical, or field-service experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, sprinklers,
  • controllers, and related components.
  • Maintaining records, creating quotes and following sales protocols
  • Support basic pump and motor maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs under supervision.
  • Assist in building and assembling custom irrigation controllers.
  • Perform trenching, backfilling, site preparation, and job site cleanup.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Track inventory, materials, equipment usage, and service activities.
  • Provide professional customer service and support field technicians.
  • Follow all company safety policies, job site procedures, and regulations.
  • Participate in training programs and ongoing technical development.
