- Irrigation & Pump Technician Assistant to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation and pump
- systems. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning technical skills, and
- being part of a team that delivers exceptional service to customers.
- As an Irrigation & Pump Technician Assistant, you will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining valuable
- experience in irrigation systems, pump maintenance, custom controller assembly, and field service operations
- while contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move tools, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to travel as needed (approximately 25% travel).
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following established procedures.
- Previous irrigation, landscaping, construction, mechanical, or field-service experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, sprinklers,
- controllers, and related components.
- Maintaining records, creating quotes and following sales protocols
- Support basic pump and motor maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs under supervision.
- Assist in building and assembling custom irrigation controllers.
- Perform trenching, backfilling, site preparation, and job site cleanup.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
- Track inventory, materials, equipment usage, and service activities.
- Provide professional customer service and support field technicians.
- Follow all company safety policies, job site procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in training programs and ongoing technical development.
