Our Deals Transaction Services team provides financial due diligence that goes beyond the numbers. We uncover value, challenge assumptions and turn complex analysis into clear, commercial advice that helps clients make confident decisions across the transaction lifecycle.
As a Manager or Senior Manager, you’ll work alongside experienced dealmakers, senior client stakeholders and specialists across PwC’s global network. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our Perth practice, develop high-performing teams and use emerging technology, including AI and advanced analytics, to deliver smarter, more impactful work.

What you’ll do
- Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on Perth’s resources, energy, infrastructure, private equity and corporate markets
- Analyse financial performance, quality of earnings, cash flow, working capital, value drivers and key risks to inform critical transaction decisions
- Deliver commercially focused insights and clear recommendations to boards, senior executives, investment committees and other key stakeholders
- Build trusted relationships with clients, advisers, private equity investors, corporates and management teams
- Develop a deep understanding of client objectives, business models and market dynamics to identify value creation opportunities
- Apply AI, data analytics and digital tools to enhance analysis, improve delivery and create a differentiated client experience
- Manage engagement economics, scope, timelines and risk, while maintaining consistently high-quality deliverables
- Lead, coach and develop junior team members, creating an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing environment
- Work collaboratively with specialists across PwC to deliver integrated advice throughout the deals lifecycle
- Contribute to the growth and strategy of our Perth Transaction Services practice through business development, market activity, thought leadership and internal initiatives
What we’re looking fo r
- Strong experience in transaction services or financial due diligence, with prior experience in external audit, corporate finance or valuations viewed favourably
- Experience working with private equity, corporate, infrastructure or resources clients on complex transactions
- The ability to lead engagements, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to assess earnings sustainability, cash generation, working capital and transaction risks
- Commercial acumen and curiosity, with the ability to connect financial analysis to market trends, business performance and strategic outcomes
- Confidence communicating complex issues clearly and concisely
- An interest in applying AI, data analytics and emerging technologies to improve financial analysis and client delivery
- Ability to build lasting relationships with clients, colleagues and referral networks
- A collaborative, positive and adaptable mindset, with the resilience to work across multiple engagements and changing priorities
- A strong commitment to integrity, quality and care for colleagues and clients
- Relevant professional qualifications and/or a degree, such as CA/CPA, CFA, FINSIA, MBA, Master of Finance or equivalent
