About The Role

Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Groups, Conference & Events Executive to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day

As a Group Conference and Events Executive, you will strategically sell, plan and curate exceptional, tailored experiences that drive revenue across group, conference and event segments, seamlessly converting opportunities while delivering personalised service that fosters lasting, high-value client relationships aligned with luxury brand standards.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Gracefully handle and convert all incoming enquiries, exceeding revenue targets through a highly personalised and strategic approach
  • Curate and manage the events portfolio with a focus on optimising yield and elevating overall commercial performance
  • Build meaningful, enduring relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their preferences and aspirations
  • Deliver immersive and bespoke hotel show rounds, showcasing the property with elegance and storytelling
  • Prepare and manage detailed event orders and group resumes, with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring clear and effective communication across all operational teams
  • Collaborate closely with operations departments to deliver seamless and high-quality events
  • Represent the hotel with distinction through participation in promotional and networking activities, strengthening brand presence and positioning

What are we looking for?

A Groups, Conference and Events Executive representing Hilton brands you will play a pivotal role in driving business performance through proactive and reactive sales and meticulous planning of group and event opportunities. In alignment with luxury standards, you will manage enquiries from initial conversion through to flawless execution. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Strong ability to build meaningful client relationships and convert opportunities through a commercially astute, proactive, service-led approach.
  • Highly developed organisational and planning skills, balancing strategic focus with operational precision
  • A commitment to delivering personalised, anticipatory service that consistently exceeds expectations.
  • Ability to perform with composure and clarity in a fast ‑ paced, high ‑ pressure environment
  • A naturally polished communication style, reflecting warmth, confidence, and genuine hospitality
  • Impeccable personal presentation in line with luxury brand standards

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions

  • Knowledge of hotel Property Management and Sales systems

Established experience within Conference and Events, with an understanding of delivering elevated, luxury-led experiences
