About The Role
Allegheny Enrichment Interns for the Allegheny Enrichment Program on the Allegheny campus
- Attend ALL scheduled classes (and find a substitution with clearances ahead of time!)
- Communicate with instructors and Site coordinators
- Model behavior
- Responsible for checking attendance throughout the day
- Participate in and support all activities as prescribed by instructor
- Engage with students
- Be liaison for students, instructors and coordinators
- Be with MS students throughout the day (lunch is a meeting for you)
- HS be with instructor or coordinator as assigned
- Act as liaison between, interns, faculty, school coordinators, and Allegheny
- Be the emergency contact person
- Coordinate and communicate with instructors
Interns must be exceptionally reliable and dependable. They must be available from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Fridays and have Pennsylvania State Clearances completed to work with children. Note that the funding comes from the public schools and does not count as part of the Allegheny work award.
