Consultant / Specialist Critical Care Physician | UAE

Talentspoc is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant / Specialist Critical Care Physician to join our healthcare team in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive expertise in managing critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), with proficiency in advanced life support, invasive monitoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical care and leadership in the ICU setting.
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans for critically ill patients.
• Manage acute and life-threatening conditions including respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Oversee mechanical ventilation management and advanced respiratory support techniques.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiology, surgery, nursing, respiratory therapy, and other specialties.
• Lead resuscitation efforts and emergency interventions when necessary.
• Monitor and adjust treatments based on continuous patient data including laboratory and imaging results.
• Ensure maintenance of accurate and detailed clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and ongoing medical education.
• Adhere strictly to UAE healthcare regulations and institutional policies.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine or related specialty.
• Substantial post-specialization clinical experience in critical care or intensive care medicine.
• Proven expertise in managing complex critical illnesses and using advanced ICU technologies.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare standards and protocols is preferred.
