The Senior Business Analyst will connect business strategy with delivery , working with operations, technology, product, risk and control partners to define problem statements and related requirements, undertake data analysis and identify solutions to improve processes and support implementation of the future operating model .

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, validation and documentation across business, technology and control stakeholders with responsibility to own hand-offs between different internal stakeholders focused on Operations, Transfer Agency, Compliance, Risk and Technologies .
- Translate problem statements and business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and traceability outputs with inclusion around a Global approach and explicit regi onal/jurisdictional operating model variations and how they will work cohesively in a Global Target Operating Model .
- Assess current-state processes, identify gaps and define future-state requirements for target operating model design.
- Analyse investor onboarding, transfer agency, AML/KYC, static data, documentation , reporting and related data flows .
- Identify operational, data, control and regulatory considerations that support service delivery and risk management.
- Research and assess regional regulatory obligations throughout analysis, ensuring jurisdiction-specific considerations are clearly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement & Solution Delivery
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather requirements, test assumptions and secure alignment.
- Partner with project managers, technology teams, product owners, operations, risk and compliance to support solution design and delivery.
- Support testing, UAT, implementation readiness, training materials and post-implementation review.
Documentation, Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Produce clear analysis documentation, including requirements, process maps, user stories, data mapping support, test scenarios and governance materials.
- Improve analysis standards, templates, controls and ways of working across the transformation portfolio.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Business analysis experience within funds, asset servicing, transfer agency, investor onboarding, AML/ KYC or financial services operations.
- Proven capability in requirements definition, process mapping, data analysis, testing, UAT and implementation readiness.
- Good understanding of funds operating models, controls, service delivery and regulatory considerations.
- Confident stakeholder management skills, including workshop facilitation, constructive challenge and alignment across business and technology teams.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Experience with Visio, Power BI, SharePoint, Aha!, Azure DevOps, Jira or Confluence is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent experience or relevant BA qualification preferred. CBAP, CCBA, BCS, Lean Six Sigma, Prince2, Agile or Scrum certification is beneficial.
