Responsibilities
The Electrical Specialist is a senior-level electrical professional responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical systems within a healthcare environment, ensuring safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation while supporting facility infrastructure and patient care.
- Install, inspect, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure throughout the facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues affecting power distribution, controls, and critical building systems.
- Lead electrical projects, including system modifications, equipment replacements, and infrastructure improvements.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and diagnostics to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Respond to electrical emergencies and service interruptions to restore safe operations.
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation to support installation and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, safety, and facility teams to ensure effective project execution and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, testing, inspection, and project documentation.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff while promoting safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, OSHA requirements, electrical codes, and applicable life safety standards.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Oklahoma Electrical Master or Contractor License or completion of an INTEGRIS Health-approved apprenticeship program.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience in healthcare or similar complex environments
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior electricians
