Responsibilities

The Electrical Specialist is a senior-level electrical professional responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical systems within a healthcare environment, ensuring safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation while supporting facility infrastructure and patient care.

Install, inspect, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure throughout the facility.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues affecting power distribution, controls, and critical building systems.
Lead electrical projects, including system modifications, equipment replacements, and infrastructure improvements.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and diagnostics to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
Respond to electrical emergencies and service interruptions to restore safe operations.
Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation to support installation and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, safety, and facility teams to ensure effective project execution and regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate maintenance, testing, inspection, and project documentation.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff while promoting safe work practices.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, OSHA requirements, electrical codes, and applicable life safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Oklahoma Electrical Master or Contractor License or completion of an INTEGRIS Health-approved apprenticeship program.
