About The Role
The Opportunity
Provide general technical and commercial support to both external as well as internal customers such as the external product specialists, account managers and internal colleagues. Answer technical questions about products and applications. Treatment of product-related quality complaints. Act proactively with a view to achieving customer satisfaction and the promoting the sales cycle. Position profile
The Technical Product Support (TPS) is VWR's resource with expertise within the chemicals product range. The main tasks are: provide support to customers and colleagues in product related questions, as well as create quotations and participation in tender work. The function is based in the office.
Technical Support
- Offer ongoing sales support to customers pre-and post sales, on Chemicals product range within the VWR portfolio.
- Prepare technical input for quotes and give price recommendations based on product- and market knowledge.
- Drive and create new opportunities through interaction with technical end users.
- Collaborate and orchestrates the broader internal network.
Main activities
- Increase competitive advantage and drive customer satisfaction by building trust and developing partnership relationships.
- Provide value in every interaction by working together with customers, suppliers, VWR sales teams and VWR European functions to develop valuable solutions for their business.
- Have a broad knowledge of the VWR product range
- Have a broad knowledge in existing campaigns
- Participate in in/ex-house trainings and relevant meetings
- Contact with suppliers for technical questions.
- Participate in tender work, find products and answer technical requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Targets
Work with the sales- and product specialist team to help meet /exceed our company targets and strategy within assigned discipline.
Qualifications
- High Diploma school or degree in science discipline
- Experience with laboratory product
- Fluent in oral and written English - Italian mother tongue
- Knowledge of MS Office

Pay Transparency
- The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
- €31,550.00 - €51,922.50
- Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
