Senior Corporate Affairs Executive

About The Role
Work Location: Kai Tak
In support of CLP’s future business needs, we are looking for a high caliber communication professional to join the Corporate Affairs (Communications) Department of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. The successful candidate is responsible for supporting CLP’s strategic communications initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and support Group-level strategic communications projects, including executive communications and thought leadership initiatives, ensuring effective end-to-end execution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide communications support for Group-level initiatives, including Growth Markets business development projects, financial transactions and other strategic initiatives, and contribute to communication activities across Group functions such as Sustainability and Finance.
- Develop high-quality corporate communications content in both English and Chinese, including thought leadership pieces, speeches, talking points, key messages, media briefs and financial reporting materials.
- Support media relations activities, including handling media enquiries, coordinating interviews, developing media materials and supporting media engagement opportunities.
- Support the planning and execution of large-scale corporate events, executive engagements and stakeholder activities, ensuring effective coordination and seamless delivery.
Requirements
- Degree holder, preferably in Communications, Journalism or a related discipline.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations or journalism, with solid hands-on experience in media relations.
- Proven track record in managing communications projects, including Mainland China-related initiatives, executive communications and content development.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluent Putonghua. Experience in developing and tailoring content for Mainland Chinese audiences would be an advantage.
- Experience in a multinational corporation, listed company or communications agency serving large corporates, ideally with regional communications exposure.
- A proactive, well-organised self-starter with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, able to take ownership of projects from initiation to completion and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-versed in AI and digital tools, with the ability to leverage technology to enhance communications effectiveness and productivity.
