How you'll contribute A Patient Care Assistant (PCA) who excels in this role: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring comfort, safety, and quality outcomes Accurately document patient information and care activities in the medical record Maintain and organize equipment and supplies, contributing to a safe and efficient care environment Support quality assurance initiatives by adhering to established standards and protocols Communicate effectively with team members across departments to ensure coordinated patient care Assist with staff education efforts and actively pursue ongoing professional development Apply knowledge of age-specific needs to deliver appropriate, patient-centered care in alignment with policies and procedures Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include: Nursing Assistant Certificate preferred Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire PCA/DCA Experience preferred Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
