Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh ICG (International Consulting Group) Team. This role will be based in Tianjin.

  • ICG is Marsh’s dedicated consulting service department for contracted insures, with professional service teams located in major insurance markets worldwide.
  • The team primarily provides service with strategic cooperation planning, senior management engagement, regular cooperation reviews, and insurance report sharing services.
  • By implementing standardized service processes and developing tailored service projects to meet the needs of ICA insurers, the team aims to strengthen engagement and expand the depth and breadth of cooperation, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of collaboration.

We will count on you to

  • To handle the ICG daily work in China. Co-ordinate activities with China ICG manager and drive Strategic Carrier revenue growth.
  • Organize regular governance and review meetings for ICA carriers, inviting relevant business and placement leaders as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with placement and business leaders to drive completion of key activities.
  • Build strong relationships and maintain close communication with ICA carriers, understand their needs and provide customized services by matching them with internal resources.
  • Understand each ICA carrier’s focus areas, risk preferences, strengths, and personnel changes, and promptly share these insights with business and placement teams.
  • Share Marsh’s latest strategies and growth opportunities with ICA carriers in a timely manner.
  • Work with the regional team to provide local services to global and regional ICA insurers, and regularly update carrier activities.
  • Participate in meetings organized by regional colleagues.
  • Provide regular reports on local cooperation with global/regional ICA insurers, including cooperation data, activities, strengths and weaknesses, etc.
  • Collaborate with regional ICG, IT, and Operations teams to implement tools such as MarketPlace.
  • Assist regional colleagues in conducting the annual insurer service survey.

What you need to have

  • 5 years’ or above P&C insurance experience is a plus, with knowledge of insurance operations and basic insurance knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills with both management and teams.
  • Ability to implement revenue maximization strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in using Office software, and able to perform data analysis with Excel.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to influence others and articulate rationale for central ICG strategy and actions
  • Ability to negotiate with both internal and external parties to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
