About the Client: Our client is a reputable U.S.-based law firm with decades of experience supporting individuals through bankruptcy and Social Security disability cases. The firm is known for its commitment to client care, accessible legal services, and knowledgeable legal professionals.

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the legal team by gathering case information and maintaining clear communication with clients. This role requires strong phone skills, organization, and attention to detail to ensure accurate case documentation for attorney review.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for filing bankruptcy cases through the Pacer system as assigned by the Paralegal.
• Responsible for contacting clients via phone, email, and text to explain the FCRA process and facilitate the secure download of credit reports for attorney review.
• The Legal Assistant will also train interns on providing effective assistance to enhance overall team success.
• Additional administrative duties related to Chapter 13 bankruptcy

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, maintain confidentiality, and communicate clearly to build client trust. Handling sensitive information with discretion is essential.
