What You Will Do As a Senior Investment Dana Analyst, Data Solutions, you will serve as a senior individual contributor within the Data Perfection function, responsible for owning complex data quality initiatives across Nasdaq’s Public and Private Markets datasets. You will lead audits of fund data, design scalable audit controls, and perform the created audits. This role requires strong judgment, deep market data knowledge, and the ability to translate data issues into actionable, long-term solutions. Lead sophisticated data audits across Private and Public Markets, ensuring accuracy of fund structures, metadata, and performance information. Help define and create a prototype of a new multi-tier audit framework using Python and SQL scripting; and translate validated logic into requirements for Developer teams to productionize. Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based audit frameworks and controls to systematically detect data quality risks. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to supervise audit outcomes, targets, exceptions, and data governance metrics. Act as a subject-matter guide on investment fund data, including private equity, private credit, private assets, hedge funds, mutual funds, ETFs and public strategies. Identify root causes of recurring data issues and lead process and control improvements to improve scalability and reliability. Review and validate large, sophisticated datasets with limited documentation or evolving methodologies. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, promoting procedures and raising team standards. Support high-priority investigations, regulatory or client audits, and multi-functional initiatives. What We Expect Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. demonstrated ability in investment data, financial services, or sophisticated analytics roles. Shown experience with Private and/or Public Markets fund data, including static attributes and performance metrics. Advanced SQL proficiency (sophisticated joins, validation logic, audit frameworks). Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards for operational or analytical reporting. Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and comfort working with incomplete or ambiguous data. Ability to operate independently, prioritize strategically, and influence partners across functions. Strong written and verbal communication skills in a global, collaborative environment. Ability to explore AI enabled capabilities to support operational efficiency and analytical workflows. What Would Be Useful Experience supporting institutional investment research platforms or client-facing analytics products. Familiarity with data governance frameworks, audit methodologies, or operational risk controls. Prior experience mentoring analysts or leading workstreams. Progress toward or completion of CFA, CAIA, CFA Investment Foundations, or CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investments. Exposure to automation, large-scale data platforms, or workflow standardization.
