Job Description – Mover / Moving Helper Position: Mover / Moving Helper Location: Jersey City, NJ Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract Industry: Moving & Relocation Services Job Summary We are looking for reliable and hardworking Movers / Moving Helpers to join our team in Jersey City, NJ . The ideal candidate will assist with residential and commercial moves by safely packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and placing furniture and other belongings. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires good teamwork, reliability, and a customer-service-oriented attitude. Responsibilities Load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household items. Safely carry and move heavy furniture and belongings. Assist with residential and commercial moving projects. Wrap, pad, and protect furniture and other items to prevent damage. Properly organize and secure items inside moving trucks. Assist with packing and unpacking as needed. Carefully move items through stairs, hallways, elevators, and doorways. Follow instructions from the Driver, Crew Leader, or Supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers. Follow all company safety procedures. Work effectively as part of a team. Perform other moving-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, or labor experience is a plus, but not required . Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items. Reliable and punctual. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Good communication skills. Ability to work well with a team. Professional appearance and behavior. Customer-service-oriented. Weekend availability preferred.

Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs. repeatedly . Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull, and climb stairs. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors and in different weather conditions.
