MUFG, a globally respected financial institution, is seeking a Facility and Transaction Management Analyst to join their London team. What you'll do
- Complete daily operational activities in accordance with facility agreements, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring all tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure precise input, maintenance, and verification of facility and transaction data within operational systems, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
- Support the management of daily workflow by coordinating with Operational teams to facilitate timely transaction processing and fulfilment of obligations.
- Monitor facility and transaction lifecycle events, triggers, diary notes, and system-generated alerts to ensure appropriate actions are taken promptly.
- Act as a dependable point of contact for operational issues, queries, and escalations from both internal stakeholders and external parties such as lenders and borrowers.
- Liaise effectively with Front Office teams, lenders, borrowers, and other internal stakeholders to administer facilities and manage transaction events throughout their lifecycle.
- Contribute actively to project initiatives, process enhancements, and change management activities aimed at improving operational efficiency within the department.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships across MUFG to foster collaboration and information sharing between departments.
- Support the creation and maintenance of control tools where standard systems may not suffice for managing complex facilities or unique requirements.
- Review existing processes and procedures regularly to identify areas for improvement that maximise facility utilisation while ensuring compliance.
What you bring
- Experience working within Financial Institution Operations Middle Office or Control functions is essential for success in this role.
- Operational experience with Loan products as well as FX (Foreign Exchange) and money market products is required.
- Administrative knowledge of loan markets including FX and Swap market operations will enable you to excel in this position.
- Proficiency in reviewing loan agreements and ISDAS documentation is necessary for handling complex transactions.
- Excellent communication skills are vital for liaising with internal teams as well as external stakeholders such as lenders or borrowers.
- Strong numerical skills combined with exceptional attention to detail ensure accuracy in all aspects of facility management.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is expected; familiarity with Loan IQ is preferred.
- A calm approach under pressure allows you to manage large workloads effectively while meeting tight deadlines.
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in core academic subjects is required; A Level (or equivalent) qualifications are preferred.
- Additional language skills are advantageous but not mandatory; bi-lingual proficiency would be beneficial.
