About The Role

The Sales role with the GSA team will expose you to a different experience in managing travel partners at the dedicated assigned region / country. You will be responsible for the partner sales performance at the same time establishing the branding and reputation of WANO in a foreign ground.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION

  • Sales & Revenue Generation by achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales.
  • Dive bookings through GSA Partner, sub-agencies & OTA based on the respective country and region
  • Support and strategic expansion of the existing customer base in the office and in the field
  • Support in the creation and implementation of the marketing and budget plan
  • Maintaining regular contact with assigned travel trade partners and commercial companies
  • Interpreting revenue statistics, data and providing statistical reports.
  • Administrative support
  • Carrying out market and potential analyses, follow up on the findings.
  • Implementation of target group-specific sales and marketing measures
  • Regular pricing benchmarking and timely reporting
  • Maintain database updated for all systems and regular e-mail distribution.
  • Organizing and coordinating customer events
  • Monitoring of contracts and distribution of tariffs and other airline news to the market
  • Product training and participation in trade fairs and events
  • Implementation of target group-specific sales and marketing measures

WHO YOU ARE

  • Minimum qualification is diploma holder in any field with at least three years of commercial experience in sales and distribution sectors, knowledge of the aviation business is preferable;
  • Distinctive sales personality with passion for the airline industry and understanding of the segments of the travel and tourism industry.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Ms Office, Google Doc Editors or equivalent)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (further language skills are an advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, great interpersonal skills, and a pleasant, outgoing personality
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in airline sales, travel agency sales, OTA, or aviation commercial roles.
  • Experience in managing travel trade relationships and corporate accounts preferred
  • Knowledge of airline reservation and distribution systems is an advantage
