Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, U.S. Strategic Sales is a national commercial role within Hologic Capital & Strategic Solutions responsible for advancing strategic sales opportunities and supporting the execution and growth of Hologic’s financial solutions across the U.S. Healthcare Market. Reporting to the Director of Hologic Capital & Strategic Solutions, this individual serves as a key commercial and operational partner in scaling Hologic Capital, executing complex customer solutions, and expanding engagement with IDNs and Health Systems.

This individual contributor role operates at the intersection of sales, finance, strategy, and execution, partnering with Strategic Sales, National Accounts, Sales Enablement, field leadership, Finance, Business Units, and external lending partners to accelerate capital acquisition, strengthen enterprise relationships, and drive sustainable growth.

What to expect

Hologic Capital – Program Execution & Operations

  • Partner with the Director of Hologic Capital & Strategic Solutions and Strategic Sales team to execute and scale Hologic Capital strategies, programs, processes, tools, and commercial initiatives across the U.S.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Hologic commercial teams and external lending partners, coordinating financial-solution opportunities from evaluation through structure, approval, documentation, funding, and implementation.
  • Develop and support creative financial solutions that align customer clinical, operational, and financial objectives with Hologic’s commercial goals.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Strategic Pricing, Legal, Operations, and lending partners to streamline execution and remove barriers to capital acquisition.
  • Maintain visibility to the Hologic Capital pipeline, program activity, utilization, deal progression, and key performance indicators; identify opportunities to improve scalability and adoption.

Strategic Sales, IDN & National Accounts

  • Serve as a national commercial resource for complex, strategic, and high-value opportunities, partnering with Strategic Sales Managers, National Accounts, Business Units, and field leadership.
  • Develop customer-specific strategies incorporating Hologic technology, financial solutions, contracting approaches, and enterprise value propositions to accelerate acquisition decisions.
  • Support opportunities involving competitive conversions, technology upgrades, multi-site placements, enterprise agreements, portfolio expansion, and other complex acquisition models.
  • Help build and execute Hologic’s Regional IDN and Health System strategy in alignment with National Accounts and existing enterprise priorities, identifying systems where coordinated engagement can create incremental growth.
  • Develop relationships with senior health-system stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Administration, clinical operations, and technology acquisition to expand access to key decision makers and understand capital-planning processes.
  • Support business cases, financial models, value propositions, executive presentations, and strategic contracting solutions for targeted customers.
  • Connect regional opportunities and customer insights with broader national account strategies to support a coordinated One Hologic approach and strengthen long-term customer partnerships.

Commercial & Sales Enablement

  • Partner with Sales Enablement, Sales Training, and commercial leadership to strengthen financial acumen, capital acquisition knowledge, strategic selling, and executive-level engagement across the sales organization.
  • Develop practical tools, playbooks, customer-facing materials, training, and messaging that simplify complex financial concepts and enable effective positioning and utilization of Hologic Capital.
  • Communicate program updates, new offerings, success stories, and best practices to drive awareness, adoption, and consistent utilization across Hologic Business Units and sales teams.

Strategic Growth & Business Support

  • Support forecasting, pipeline reporting, business reviews, program analytics, and measurement of commercial outcomes.
  • Evaluate new financial programs, strategic partnerships, commercial models, and growth opportunities; bring customer, market, and field insights forward to inform future capabilities.
  • Identify operational gaps and opportunities to simplify processes, improve the customer and sales-team experience, and increase speed and consistency of execution.

What we expect

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of MedTech/medical device sales experience, including 5+ years of capital equipment sales experience.
  • 3+ years of sales management and/or commercial leadership experience involving strategy, capital acquisition, healthcare equipment finance, or complex strategic sales.
  • Demonstrated success navigating complex capital equipment sales, healthcare-system decision making, budgeting, financing, procurement, and contracting processes.
  • Experience working with hospital and health-system executives, including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Administration, and clinical leadership.
  • Equipment finance, leasing, lender/vendor program, or financial-solutions experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing strategic sales opportunities within IDNs/Health Systems and partnering with National Accounts, Corporate Accounts, or similar enterprise sales organizations.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to simplify complex issues, communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, and translate strategy into executable commercial actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional initiatives without direct authority, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, project management, and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated track record of commercial success.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Ability to travel nationally as business needs require.

The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative commercial leader who moves effectively between strategy and execution, finance and sales, and internal operations and customer engagement. The ideal candidate combines strong MedTech and capital equipment experience with financial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate complex healthcare systems to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

Additional Details

This role is based on a base salary and commission plan combination. On target compensation range for a highly successful individual may earn up to $325,000 annually. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory/ geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance versus quota.
