This position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga office where you will work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

Role Summary: The Vendor Support Specialist, Cyber Lines plays a pivotal role in driving the success of Ingram Micro's rapidly growing Cybersecurity Business Unit. Acting as a key liaison between Licensing desk, vendor partners, and internal teams, this role is responsible for coordinating critical business operations across order management, pipeline visibility, vendor programs, and customer engagement initiatives. Through proactive communication, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder collaboration, the incumbent ensures opportunities are tracked, orders are fulfilled efficiently, vendor requirements are met, and business growth objectives are successfully achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Licensing Desk and vendor partners, track quotes and purchase orders, driving timely quote/order completion within SLA targets, and ensuring accurate, proactive updates are provided to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage administrative processes related to vendor returns in strict compliance with established return policies, ensuring no financial loss to Ingram Micro.
  • Proactively resolve shipment-related issues, provide timely updates on changes to Canadian pricing, and support reseller authorization processes to maintain operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collect, maintain, and distribute pipeline and opportunity data from vendor partners, ensuring Sales, the Licensing Desk, and cross-functional teams have accurate and consistent information to effectively track, manage, and advance business opportunities.
  • Handle inbound inquiries, route escalations, manage follow-up emails, and coordinate meeting scheduling.
  • Work closely with Marketing Account Managers to ensure collecting, validating, submitting, and tracking vendor incentive and MDF claims, ensuring all submissions meet vendor program requirements and are completed accurately within established timelines.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers from webinars and vendor-sponsored events to discuss vendor programs and assess interest in exploring the vendor's portfolio.
  • Manage first-level opportunity engagement for new business, renewals, and upsell opportunities by conducting preliminary qualification, assessing customer requirements, and engaging Business Development Managers or pre-sales engineers as needed to provide technical expertise and support opportunity development.
  • Recruit customers and partners for marketing events through outbound phone calls, email campaigns, and follow-up communications to drive event attendance and engagement.

What you bring to the role

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-3 years of experience in sales support roles who are eager to continue building their career in Cybersecurity.
  • Experience in sales, IT distribution, or the partner/channel ecosystem is considered an asset but is not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, organized, and results oriented.
  • Works collaboratively as a team player and demonstrates resourcefulness in overcoming challenges.
  • Able to learn things quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in French is considered a strong asset.

The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is $57,000-62,000 CAD per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual starting base pay across all of Canada for all roles. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, including work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This is a new role and will not use AI for screening applicants.
