Essential Job Functions

Purchase consumable materials to support Maintenance through Maintain X.
Coordinate purchasing administration functions and interface as the primary Indirect / MRO interface to all internal Customer requirements.
Drive and maintain compliance to purchasing policies and procedures so to support common Indirect / MRO strategies within a specified region and/or location.
Support the development of sourcing strategies, alternative sources of supply, and cost reduction projects.
Assist in the management of Supplier relationships, execute contracts, develop RFQ packages, and provide analytical support for analysis of proposals to ensure best value for purchased materials / services.
Support and monitor key supplier performance metrics.
Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders and overall maintenance of associated record keeping within the purchasing system.
Strong Team focus while demonstrating the ability to operate independently within your location.
Perform duties per GMP and customer requirements
High School diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree or college diploma highly desired.
Must have strong written and verbal communication and inter-personal skills.
Must work in accordance with the Continuous Improvement Values.
Must have strong computer skills.
Must be extremely organized and able to function independently under pressure
Working knowledge of MRP and computerized inventory control.
Observing purchasing code of ethics is a condition of employment.
Good negotiating skills.
