The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) plays a pivotal role in conducting clinical trials focused on investigational PET tracer and radiopharmaceutical therapies. Works closely with a team of medical professionals and researchers to ensure our clinical trials are conducted efficiently, ethically, and within regulatory compliance. Responsible for managing all aspects of the clinical trials, from participant recruitment to data collection and analysis, ensuring the integrity and quality of the research.

Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to: ​ ​

  • Coordinate and manage clinical trials from initiation to closure, including patient recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up.
  • Patient recruitment. Pre-screen potential candidates medical records for appropriateness for participation.
  • Coordinate all necessary resources for successful conduct of clinical trial protocol, including: providers, clinic rooms, clinic staff, imaging equipment, radiopharmacy, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and complete clinical trial documentation and records.
  • Facilitate communication between the clinical site, research team, and sponsors.
  • Train and oversee research staff and volunteers, as necessary.
  • Manage the procurement, storage, and handling of study materials, including investigational products and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Ensure participant safety and confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field, nursing, or a related area or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in human subjects research required
  • BLS within 30 days of hire required
  • Shipping and Handling of Specimen Training - Certification within 30 Days of hire required
  • GCP Certification within 30 Days of hire required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced educational degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in healthcare, direct patient care preferred
  • Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and IRB requirements required
  • Experience in oncology, radiology, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with PET imaging, radiopharmaceuticals, and the unique considerations of trials involving these modalities preferred
  • Shipping and Handling of Specimen Training - Certification within 30 Days of hire required
  • SOCRA Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or ACRP Certified Professional (ACRP-CP) or ACRP Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) – preferred

Schedule Details

  • Employment Status: Full time (1.0 FTE)
  • Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40
  • Hours of work: 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Days worked: Monday–Friday with some flexibility. A hybrid work opportunity is available after the introductory period, with the option to work remotely 1 day per week.
