MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Under the general supervision of the MRI Supervisor and the Manager Diagnostic Imaging, the MRI Technologist will perform a variety of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations using the proper MRI safety practices. Performs various MRI procedures according to accepted department protocols and hospital policies. Performs a variety of MRI procedures for patients of any age group for diagnostic purposes according to department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards. Assist Radiologist and referring physicians as needed to perform MRI procedures. In addition, the MRI Technologist will work closely with the radiologists, other modalities, inpatient and outpatient MRI departments, and will serve as a liaison to scheduling and referring physician offices.
