About The Role

Job Overview

The HR Workforce Analytics Specialist is responsible for transforming enterprise HR data into actionable business insights that support strategic workforce planning and data-driven decision-making across the Human Resources function.

Reporting to the Manager, HRIS, the role partners with HR Centers of Excellence, HR leadership, and the HRIS Reporting & Analytics team to analyze workforce trends, identify business opportunities and risks, and develop analytical recommendations that improve organizational performance.

This role regularly presents findings to senior HR leadership. Strong executive communication skills and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations are essential for success in this role.

The position leverages enterprise reporting platforms, including Microsoft Power BI, and workforce data to perform advanced analysis, provide business context, and develop strategic recommendations. The role collaborates with the HRIS Reporting & Analytics team to enhance analytical solutions and communicate evolving business needs.

The role will also support the organization's continued advancement in workforce analytics and future adoption of Oracle Analytics and predictive analytics capabilities.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Workforce Analytics
  • Analyze workforce data across HR functions to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver focused analysis on priority areas such as retention and turnover, exit and stay interviews, and workforce planning, expanding to other HR areas as needs evolve.
  • Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations that support workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
  • Business Insights & Communication
  • Develop clear executive-level workforce insights, presentations, and concise analytical briefs for senior HR leadership.
  • Present recommendations confidently, explain analytical methodology, and respond to questions from senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Advanced Analytics
  • Apply statistical analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting to workforce topics such as turnover, retention, hiring demand, and workforce planning.
  • Support the adoption of Oracle Analytics, predictive analytics, and other emerging analytical methods and technologies.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams to address complex workforce questions and support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS Reporting & Analytics team to enhance analytical solutions, data quality, workforce metrics, and KPIs.
  • Promote consistent use of trusted data and actionable insights in HR decision-making.
  • Support cloud-based reporting and analytics technologies

Essential Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Workforce Analytics, HR Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related analytical disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Experience analyzing enterprise business or HR data.
  • Experience developing business insights and analytical recommendations.
  • Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • SQL
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including the ability to navigate, interpret, analyze, and present insights using dashboards and reports. Experience creating or enhancing reports and dashboards is an advantage.
