The Ubiquiti Prague office is looking for an experienced Android Developer.

This role requires working from our Prague office at least two days per week.

Requirements

3+ years of professional Android development experience
Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a solid understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle
Experience with Jetpack libraries, Coroutines and/or RxJava, and dependency injection
Experience consuming RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication
Experience implementing pixel-perfect designs from Figma and collaborating closely with designers to deliver polished user experiences
Solid understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, debugging, qand memory management
Comfortable designing and shipping long-lived applications with maintainable architecture and high code quality
Strong communication and technical documentation skills
Fluency with modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.). You use AI as real leverage in your day-to-day work.

Fluent in English and Czech

Nice to Have

Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
Experience building applications with real-time updates, connected devices, or IoT products
Experience with multi-module Android projects
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
