Role Overview: 1099 Virtual Care Telehealth NeurologistWe are seeking a Neurologist who is licensed in Maine* to provide virtual neurology care to Local Infusion patients, with a focus on memory care and dementia-related conditions. This is a contract, patient-facing clinical role; delivering high-quality, compassionate virtual care to increase patient access and reduce time to treatment.LocationRemote Job Description• Conduct virtual neurology visits for new and existing patients, with an emphasis on memory disorders and dementia care• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological conditions consistent with telehealth standards of care• Partner with NP and referring providers to develop and adjust patient care plans• Maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation in the EMR• Escalate complex or urgent cases per Local Infusion clinical protocolsKey Accountabilities• Board certified/eligible neurologist with active, unrestricted medical license(s) in ME; willing to obtain additional state licensure as needed• Experience diagnosing and managing memory disorders, dementia, or related cognitive conditions• Experience providing and prescribing anti-amyloid therapy and monitoring patients receiving these medications• Prior telehealth experience required• Comfortable working independently in a contract (1099) capacity with a flexible visit schedule• Excellent communication skills with patients, caregivers, and care teams
