About The Role

Lead the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee all aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Prepare and present financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as internal policies.
Coordinate the yearly audit process and liaise with external auditors.
Monitor cash flow and financial performance and suggest improvements as necessary.
Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and internal controls.
Provide training and support to accounting staff to enhance departmental performance.
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to aid organizational growth.
Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts on a regular basis, including project finances and progress reports.
Monitor and analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management.
Ensure compliance with local and national financial regulations and tax requirements, including filings with BIR
Coordinate and manage the annual audit process.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Performs other tasks or special projects related to assigned role and position.
