About The Role

Lakeview Hospital is looking to hire a Pharmacy Technician I to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

Performs activities involved in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Technician completes pharmacy functions that do not require a licensed pharmacist, which allows pharmacist more time for clinical activities.

Required Qualifications

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination

High school diploma or equivalent

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification

Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) – required at hire/start date.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)-required within 1 year of hire/start date
Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be at least 18 years old

2-3 years pharmacy technician experience
