About The Role

If you are a Procurement Expeditor professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you in Lugagnano Val d’Arda (PC) . In this role, you will help ensure the timely flow of materials and equipment by working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to monitor purchase orders, mitigate risks, and support on-time project execution. You will play a key role in maintaining reliable supply chain data, fostering strong supplier partnerships, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers regarding purchase order production and delivery requirements.
  • Ensure suppliers have the information and resources required to meet agreed production and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct regular supplier visits to assess order progress, verify milestones, identify potential risks, and support issue resolution.
  • Build collaborative and productive relationships with suppliers while developing a strong understanding of their manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify recurring issues or deviations, and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
  • Proactively manage risks related to quality, material availability, and production constraints.
  • Communicate delays, risks, and supply chain impacts promptly to project teams and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable procurement and scheduling information within SAP.
  • Review system-generated priorities and collaborate with suppliers to improve delivery performance.
  • Contribute ideas that improve processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.

For This Role, You Will Need

  • Technical education, training, or equivalent practical experience relevant to manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or engineering environments. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, purchase orders, logistics activities, manufacturing operations, or related business processes.
  • Understanding of supply planning, procurement processes, or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Ability to analyze information, track progress, identify risks, and communicate updates effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Italian and English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Northern Italy as required by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

  • Experience working in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, project procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, forging, or casting.
  • Experience using SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Experience supporting project-based environments with multiple stakeholders and delivery milestones.
  • Demonstrated contribution to continuous improvement initiatives or supplier performance programs.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 28000 & 45000 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. The role is suitable for candidates with early career experience as well as professionals looking to further develop their skill in project quality. This role is covered by the Industria Metalmeccanica Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which defines the applicable compensation structure and progression ( CCNL Metalmeccanici — Assolombarda ).
