About The Role
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Strategy Deployment:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives, including the Go-to-Market strategy, to support long-term business growth and customer loyalty.
- Own the business forecasting process for the President’s Operating Report (POR), including monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
- Lead and own the budget-setting process for the business, including orders, SG&A, headcount, and capital expenditures.
- Define Iberia account planning approach, balancing High Touch field sales and Low Touch digital sales engagement, including direct ownership of key account development.
- Manage key accounts and/or industry segments in Spain and Portugal. Take ownership of the assigned accounts/industry segments, with direct responsibility for achieving business results.
- Organization Development:
- Lead, organize, manage, and coach the Iberia ISV external and internal sales teams to meet or exceed annual order targets.
- Lead individual budget and goal setting with the ISV Sales Team.
- Establish and manage governance processes, including KPIs, productivity assessments, performance reviews, and improvement plans, to maximize team effectiveness and business results; provide regular reporting.
- Ensure training plans are developed and delivered across the group to strengthen functional and technical knowledge.
- Commercial Leadership:
- Build and maintain customer relationships that support long-term business growth.
- Represent Emerson in senior-level commercial negotiations with customers.
- Spends majority of working time visiting customers.
- Work closely with key Iberia stakeholders to maximize Emerson’s total business potential.
- Culture Development:
- Foster a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement to drive innovation and productivity gains.
- Ensure full sales team adherence to company ethics and trade compliance values.

For This Role, You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline , or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or application engineering within an industrial or technical environment.
- Solid understanding of valve industry products and applications; experience with an understanding of ISV products and operations is considered a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking and leadership .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong personal drive, resilience , and passion for achieving results .
- Strong command of the English language , with ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations.
- Ability to travel up to 60% for customer visits across the region.
