About The Role

SUMMARY

The Talent Development Coordinator's primary role is to support the planning, execution, and administration of talent development programs and initiatives for both craft and non-craft team members. The Talent Development Coordinator is the first point of contact for team members participating in Mortenson-wide development programs. They provide detailed onboarding, development, and program analytics and reporting. Administer Mortenson signature development programs and broader talent development initiatives. Provide exceptional customer experience that reflects Mortenson’s values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage program delivery for Mortenson-wide talent development programs.

  • Manage logistics and coordination for training events; schedule instructor(s) and room(s), send communication, assemble materials, order catering, etc.
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) and related program administration tasks for learners, facilitators, and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary contact for participants, managers, and instructors or facilitators, including managing the communication inbox[es].

Provide detailed talent development analytics and reporting .

  • Compile data on talent development program metrics.
  • Evaluate data and identify trends.
  • Generate accurate and complex reports.

Administer signature talent development offerings & experiences.

  • Prepare for team member participation in classroom sessions, development experiences, manager communication, pre-work, and post-session team member communications.
  • Manage logistics and coordination for in-person development sessions.
  • Support the training burst process (automated e-mails).

Partner with the Talent Development team on special projects.

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex software quickly.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines with high quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equitant work experience.
  • Experience analyzing data.
  • Experience coordinating meetings or training events.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex software quickly.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines with high quality work.
  • Open to change based on diverse input and feedback.
  • Effectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
  • Adaptive, effective communication and active listening skills.

The base hourly pay range for this role is $26.63 - $35.96. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
