Buy-side Front Office Product Specialist, Australia and New Zealand

Product Specialist will drive sales by building strong relationships, providing the highest level of service in specific subject matters and workflows to maximize client satisfaction and grow product deployment. As the primary focus is deployment of products and services, which inherently will drive ASV, it also means echoing a consistent message of partnering across FactSet teams to explore new and creative ways we can service our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to drive deployment where growth exists, and at the same time solidify our existing user base by partnering with Generalist Sales, Client Services, Trading Sales, Middle Office Sales, and Implementation Teams. The role will focus on the needs of the various firm types within Buy-side including institutional asset managers, asset owners, insurance, and hedge funds.
Recognizing the complexity and sophistication of our Research, Content and Analytics solutions for different personas such as Research Analysts , Portfolio Managers , Quants , Investment Strategists and Traders in particular, the role would acquire and learn to be a SME in all front office offerings, both on and off platform. For example, Buyside Workstations, Research Management Solution s , On and Off-Platform Quantitative Solutions , StreetAccount, PM Hub , FPE and Signals . The role will execute a client-centric approach and exhibit enterprise solution selling techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with generalist sales and other specialists to drive growth across Front Office products and workflows.
- Product Specialists will be expected to facilitate both retention and expansion within their assigned clients.
- Interact frequently with clients and colleagues to develop and maintain relationships, either virtually or in person.
- Strong partnership with sales, product marketing, and consulting to p romote and build awareness of FactSet’s Front Office Solutions . Maintain a high level of sales activities , tracking sales efforts and client intelligence in CRM .
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to progress and drive opportun ities to closing .
- Develop as a subject matter expert for Front Office Solutions .
- Be accountable for your book of business of your respective region.
- Develop a n understanding of competitors products and be able to position FactSet Front Office solutions’ competitive differentiation and value. Consolidate regional market feedback for front office data/product development/enhancement.
- Facilitate feedback loop between sales and the Buy-Side Front Office Product team .
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required .
- 7+ years of industry experiences in financial data industry .
- Strong technical skills & deep Front Office product knowledge, workflows and challenges.
- A strong drive for results, proven experience in chasing leads, converting leads into deals, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of our Front O ffice S olutions , including Research, Alpha Signals, Content and Protfolio Construction.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and passionate about the opportunities in Front Office.
- Strong technical and analytical skills .
- Prior experiences working with front office clients preferred .
- Desire to be part of a fun, fast paced team focused on growth in one of FactSet ’s most important business segments .
