About The Role

Lead safe and efficient day-to-day site operations and production activities.
Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, regulatory and company standards.
Maintain site facilities, equipment and asset integrity.
Deliver production targets while reducing downtime and production losses.
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
Coordinate operations, maintenance, engineering, wells and project activities.
Lead risk assessments, emergency response and incident management.
Drive equipment reliability, operational improvements and cost optimisation.
Manage site resources and OPEX effectively.
Ensure clear communication, reporting and effective rotational handovers.
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline .
Minimum 10 years of progressive upstream oil & gas operations experience .
Strong background covering production, maintenance and production technology.
Previous senior site-based operational leadership experience as an OIM, Site Manager, Operations Superintendent, Production Superintendent or equivalent.
Proven experience leading large multidisciplinary teams in remote or operationally complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to achieve production objectives while maintaining high safety standards.
Strong knowledge of production operations, optimisation, asset integrity and operational risk management.
Experience managing emergency response activities and operational incidents.
Track record of delivering reliability, operational improvement and cost-optimisation initiatives.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to make sound decisions and remain effective in high-pressure operational environments.
Fluency in both English and French is essential.
Position: Onshore Installation Manager / Site Manager
Location: Gabon – site-based
Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
