Shift
44 weeks of the year: Three-shift rotation, Monday to Friday
- 6:00am to 2:00pm
- 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- 10:00pm to 6:00am
- Night shifts operate Monday to Thursday only
Eight weeks of the year: 24/7 continental shift pattern
- 2 on / 2 off, 3 on / 2 off, 2 on / 3 off
- 12-hour shifts:
- 6:00am to 6:00pm
- 6:00pm to 6:00am

About the role
As a Shift Engineer, you'll play a vital role in keeping our production lines running safely, efficiently and reliably. Working closely with Operations and Engineering teams, you'll use your technical expertise to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance and drive Continuous Improvement across your designated area.
You'll take ownership of both planned and reactive maintenance activities, using lean manufacturing tools and root cause analysis techniques to identify issues and implement sustainable solutions. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in Intersnack Working Systems (IWS) and Progressive Maintenance (PM), you'll also coach and develop Equipment Owners, helping to build engineering capability across the site.

What will you be doing?
- Delivering world-class maintenance
Ensure Planned Maintenance activities are completed effectively, defects are identified and resolved, and equipment remains reliable and operating at its best
- Driving Continuous Improvement
Use lean manufacturing tools, root cause analysis and loss elimination techniques to reduce downtime, improve efficiency and eliminate waste
- Supporting operational performance
Take ownership of IWS performance within your area, contributing to Daily Direction Setting meetings and driving actions that improve site performance
- Developing engineering capability
Coach and train Equipment Owners in IWS engineering principles and maintenance activities, supporting Autonomous Maintenance Step 3 and 4 delivery
- Providing technical expertise
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Progressive Maintenance and IWS tools, supporting colleagues and helping to embed best practice across the site
