Job Title: Government Liaison Officer (Mandoob)

Job Purpose

The Government Liaison Officer will serve as the primary representative of Sealy Mattress Middle East to all Saudi government authorities and regulatory bodies . Based in Jeddah , you will expedite corporate registrations, ensure strict labor and commercial compliance, and facilitate seamless operational workflows with ministries to support the company’s business objectives in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Government & Ministry Relations

  • Represent Sealy Middle East during in-person visits to government offices, including the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) , Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) , Jeddah Municipality (Amana) , and the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) .
  • Renew and maintain all essential corporate documentation, including Commercial Registrations (CR) , municipal licenses, chamber of commerce memberships, and civil defense certificates.
  • Build and sustain strong professional networks within local government departments to expedite processing times and stay ahead of regulatory updates.

Online Portal & Labor Management

  • Manage and execute all company transactions across official Saudi digital platforms, including Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business, Mudad, and Balady .
  • Monitor and maintain the company's Saudization (Nitaqat) ratios to guarantee an optimal, compliant tier status.
  • Process government paperwork for workforce requirements, including the issuance, renewal, and cancellation of work permits, residencies (Iqamas), and visas (exit/re-entry, final exit).

Logistics & Compliance Support

  • Coordinate with Saudi Customs and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) to facilitate the smooth import, customs clearance, and regulatory approval of manufacturing materials and mattress inventory.
  • Track government expenses , submit timely invoices for government fees, and ensure all payments are processed accurately.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of verified experience directly dealing with Saudi government agencies , preferably within the manufacturing, retail, or logistics sectors.
  • Citizenship: Must be a Saudi National with a valid Saudi National ID.
  • Location: Must permanently reside in Jeddah and possess a valid Saudi driving license with a reliable vehicle for local travel.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Saudi Labor Law , commercial regulations, and evolving Vision 2030 compliance updates.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Saudi e-government portals ( Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, Mudad ).
  • Communication: Native Arabic speaker with excellent professional English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional negotiation and diplomatic skills to effectively resolve bureaucratic bottlenecks or compliance disputes.
