Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is recruiting a permanent full-time Pūkenga/Pūkenga Matua - Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Management to join Te Kura Whakahaere - School of Management at the Orauariki - Wellington School of Business and Government at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. The role of Pūkenga/Pūkenga Matu - Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Management is to undertake teaching and research of high quality, to assist in programme development where appropriate, and to contribute to the effective management of the School, including relationships with practitioner communities.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

The successful candidate will have a completed PhD in Management (or a closely related discipline) and have expertise in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. You will also have expertise in another sub-disciplinary area within Management (Organisational Behaviour, Strategic Management, Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Supply Chain Management), or in Human Resource Management, Employment Relations or Tourism Management.

You will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the recently developed core courses in the Bachelor of Commerce. You will be an active researcher and enthusiastic teacher, with a record of peer-reviewed journal publications commensurate with the level of appointment.
