About The Role

We’re looking for an accomplished Principal Technologist Evangelist to accelerate adoption of Oracle’s data and AI portfolio within our most strategic enterprise accounts, while working with key product teams to build out our AI product portfolio. You’ll engage senior technology leaders, shape modern-application strategies, and ensure Oracle is the preferred platform for cloud modernization, GenAI initiatives, and data-driven innovation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in principal-level roles across Solutions Architecture, Field Engineering, or Enterprise Consulting.
  • Demonstrated leadership delivering enterprise-scale database or cloud modernization projects—Experience with migration projects to and from RDBMS and NoSQL platforms a must.
  • Deep knowledge of distributed-system design, performance tuning, HA/DR architectures, and security/compliance in regulated industries.
  • Fluency in at least one modern language (Java, Python, or C#) and familiarity with CI/CD, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Exceptional communicator able to simplify complex concepts for both executives and hands-on engineers.
  • Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities

Inspire and influence technical decision-makers and senior architects at Global 2000 companies, making the business and technical case for Oracle Database, Autonomous Database, Data Lakehouse, and GenAI services.

Co-sell with field teams —partner with Sales, Solution Engineering, and Developer Relations to design and deliver tailored technical engagements, executive briefings, and hands-on workshops.

Become the trusted advisor —maintain deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle’s data portfolio, adjacent open source technologies, and competitor offerings; translate market trends into actionable guidance for customers and Oracle product teams.

Shape the roadmap —capture customer feedback, distill patterns, and advocate internally to influence product direction, including our industry-leading support for JSON documents and NoSQL technologies.

Amplify Oracle’s voice —represent Oracle at industry conferences, write thought-leadership articles, publish reference architectures, and appear on podcasts or webinars.

Mentor and enable —coach sales engineers, partner SI architects, and strategic account teams on developer-first best practices, migration playbooks, and AI workload design patterns.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $146,300 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
