About The Role

Kent is looking for an Civil & Structural Designer (Offshore) to be based in Mumbai / Vadodara Office

Skills and Responsibilities

Preparation of AutoCAD drawings and / or 3D modelling and extraction of drawings.
Follow quality processes for checking and incorporation of comments in drawings and model.
Understand & follow the interface management processes within the Project / Program.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise effectively and efficiently with other team members within Department.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification

ITI in Civil / Mechanical Draftsman ship / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Knowledge in detailing of various offshore structures (Oil and Gas / Wind Farms).
Computer Applications - Windows operating systems
Drafting Software – AutoCAD and additionally, MicroStation and / or proficiency in Inventor software.
Working as per the quality and safety requirement standards

Communication

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Behavior / Core Competencies

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Focused with good attention to details.
Primary interface for inter-departmental communication.
Team player & problem solving.
Adopting a flexible and open approach towards the needs of projects.
