About The Role

📍 Prague (Běchovice) | 🌍 Occasional travel | 🕒 Full-time

We are looking for a Service Technician to support maintenance and repair of traction equipment, primarily high-speed circuit breakers.

You will cover the full service cycle — diagnostics, disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly and testing. Most of the work takes place in our Prague workshop, with occasional on-site work at customer locations.

The role offers a solid level of independence — you take over the equipment, identify issues and return it to operation.

What you will do

  • Service, repair and overhaul of traction equipment (mainly high-speed circuit breakers, rectifiers, relays etc.)
  • Diagnose faults and identify appropriate solutions
  • Disassemble, inspect, clean and reassemble components
  • Test equipment after ensure repair to ensure full functionality
  • Record findings and basic repair requirements
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for service interventions
  • Work closely with colleagues from service and production
  • Technical education in electrical engineering
  • Some experience in service, maintenance or assembly of electrical equipment
  • Valid electrical qualification (NV 194/2022 or equivalent)
  • Hands-on approach, attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Fluent Czech and intermediate English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Experience with DC systems or power distribution is an advantage
