In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for network management and monitoring systems. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Java programming, networking concepts, and SNMP protocol, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software solutions for network management and monitoring.
  • Implement and integrate SNMP v1/v2/v3 protocols for device monitoring and control.
  • Work with MIBs, OIDs, and Trap Handling using SNMP4J or relevant SNMP libraries.
  • Develop REST APIs using Spring/Spring Boot for data access and management.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
  • Document software designs and implementations.
  • Work in a Linux environment, utilizing shell scripts and commands for development and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

4 to 8 years of experience in Java software development.

Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and OOPs concepts.

Experience with SNMP v1/v2/v3, MIBs, OIDs, Trap Handling, and SNMP4J or relevant SNMP libraries.

Good understanding of Networking concepts: IP, TCP/UDP, Routing basics.

Experience in Spring / Spring Boot and REST APIs development.

Hands-on experience in a Linux environment (commands, shell scripts).

Experience with NMS/EMS applications or network monitoring systems is highly desirable.

Knowledge of protocol debugging tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, SNMP testers).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to join within Immediate to 30 days notice period.
