About The Role

Job Summary: Assists in the daily function of the purchasing duties.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all PRH and CSDC policies and procedures, and the Center Operating Procedures.
  • Posts and maintains purchasing orders which may require follow-up. Prepares modifications to purchase orders as necessary.
  • Prepares appropriate purchase requisitions for approval.
  • Prepares PRL’s and ITARB’s as needed for purchases.
  • Contacts vendors regarding delivery dates, pricing updates and availability of products under the direction of the Administrative Servies Director.
  • Contacts vendors regarding routine problems related to variances in product orders to products received.
  • Reviews balances on Blanket Purchase Agreements daily to ensure charges do not exceed terms of agreement.
  • Maintains computer listing of vendors and records all purchases.
  • Attends staff training sessions as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum : High school graduate or equivalent. Six months’ experience in a purchasing department.
  • Preferred : Associates degree. Two years’ experience in related field.
  • Knowledge : Good communication skills, both oral and written. Strong organizational skills. Ability to operate a personal computer. Ability to learn company software systems.
