VMware Administrator

 

• Manage, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere infrastructure.
• Administer HPE Synergy and ProLiant server environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Manage storage infrastructure, including Pure Storage arrays and Brocade SAN switches.
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of the virtualization platform.
• Implement infrastructure changes through approved automation and change management processes.
• Apply security policies, compliance standards, and best practices across infrastructure platforms.
• Perform infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
• Collaborate with networking, security, and application teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
• Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
• 5+ years of experience administering VMware vSphere environments.
• 5+ years of experience managing HPE Synergy and HPE ProLiant infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience with enterprise storage solutions, preferably Pure Storage and Brocade SAN.
• Experience with infrastructure upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and change management processes.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
• Experience with HPE Synergy Composer, OneView, and ProLiant servers.
• Knowledge of Pure Storage administration and Brocade Fibre Channel SAN switching.
• Solid understanding of storage technologies, SAN architecture, and Fibre Channel networking.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise infrastructure services.
• Experience with infrastructure security, hardening, and compliance best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning tools.
