About The Role

Role Purpose

The Head of Social Relations is responsible for managing labour relations and social dialogue activities in Luxembourg. The role coordinates preparation, documentation, analysis, negotiation support and follow-up actions linked to staff delegation discussions, collective labour topics, HR processes, restructuring or organizational projects, and site-related HR matters.

The position acts as a key HR interface for management, HR stakeholders, employee representatives and operational stakeholders, ensuring that social relations processes are structured, documented, confidential, compliant and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and prepare meetings with staff delegation representatives and support constructive HR-delegation relations.
  • Prepare files, data, analysis and documentation required for social dialogue, information, consultation and negotiation processes.
  • Support extraction, benchmarking and preparation of key salary or HR-related data required for negotiations and discussions.
  • Contribute to preparation and finalisation of collective agreements, conventions, procedures and HR documents.
  • Participate in regular discussions and meetings with internal and external stakeholders involved in HR and social relations topics.
  • Support social relations activities linked to Luxembourg projects, including site-related HR follow-up, transparency topics and Bissen-related support.
  • Ensure sensitive information is handled with appropriate confidentiality and compliance awareness.
  • Contribute to HR project management and governance for social relations topics.

Required Competencies

  • Masters in Human Resources or related
  • Extensive experience, 10+ years in Human Resources, ideally with experience dealing with Union representatives
  • French and English Fluent. Luxembourgish and German would be a strong advantage
  • Social relations and labour relations management.
  • HR policy and process knowledge.
  • Collective agreement / CCT negotiation support.
  • Staff delegation coordination.
  • HR data analysis and documentation.
  • Confidentiality and compliance awareness.
  • Stakeholder management and meeting preparation.
  • Project coordination and governance.
  • Written communication and reporting.
  • Change management and resistance management.
