We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist Job duties: Responsible for Business Analysis, Accounting and Reporting for ICAP-AP (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in the following area: Revenue/Costs Management Accounting Process month- end revenue and cost-associated journals to facilitate smooth month end close on a timely and accurate manner Ensure monthly revenue reconciliation from General Ledger to source systems Prepare cost accrual and check cost allocation to front offices Complete month-end accounting schedules including Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations promptly, with unreconciling items resolved timely Perform intercompany reconciliation monthly and promptly, with an aim to minimise or eliminate mismatches and to enable settlement regularly Management Reporting/Forecast, Planning & Analysis Prepare monthly Management and Business Analysis reports, and provide support for business partnering requests on a prompt and active manner to the Businesses Prepare daily brokerage reporting to CEO, MDs and Desk Heads, and monthly brokers' performance reporting Analyze monthly Profit & Loss performance and comment on variances Prepare and submit financial reports to Regional Finance and Group Finance on a timely basis Update quarterly forecast and annual budget financials in accordance to the assumptions and to meet Group Finance datelines Statutory Accounting/Corporate Tax and Value-Added-Tax Filing Prepare yearly statutory accounts and audit disclosure notes for the Business Entities in charge Liaise with the auditors and attend to their queries to meet audit, regulatory and ACRA filing timeline Liaise with Tax Agent to provide requisite data for Corporate Tax Filing and Tax Authority’s queries, and ensure timely submission to the Tax Authority Risk Control Ensure financial controls and risk controls procedures are being complied with at all times, this includes Balance Sheet and Payroll Reconciliation, Risk Metrics Reporting, updating accounting manual and procedural notes especially for Key End User Computing files, cross training, etc 5) Project/Others Participate in system and other projects where required and to contribute actively with an aim to roll out deliverables on time and successfully Identify, recommend and implement measures to improve workflow/internal control processes Person Specification Knowledge Experience in handling full sets of accounts Possesses good initiative and independent working attitude, meticulous Good team player Flexible and adaptable to a fast changing environment Effective communication skills, with good interpersonal skills Skills Proficient in Microsoft applications software Excel Strong appreciation of data reconciliations Strong mindset of controls Good knowledge of Corporate and Goods & Services Tax will be bonus point Experience with Oracle will be a plus point Client Focused Personable and engaging Communicates effectively and efficiently to internal and external stakeholders Build relationships and networks with both internally and externally wherever possible Demonstrates strong customer focus Demonstrates ability to work effectively with others Constructively handles disagreements to reach a resolution Ability to work with diverse groups/ personalities Innovative Open to innovative ideas/ experiences and ability to create new ideas, approaches or insights Seeks opportunities for improvements Handles situations and problems with innovation and creativity Dynamic & Competitive Demonstrates high levels of energy in seeking out and achieving new goals Goes that “extra mile” Is a self-starter Shows evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environments Enjoys a challenge and is able to escalate Does not give up easily Open & Communicative Adapts communication style to suit audience Projects personal credibility Interacts confidently without being overbearing Ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment Keeps emotions under control in difficult situations Handles criticism constructively Professional Integrity Able to demonstrate honesty, integrity and professionalism Promotes loyalty to TP ICAP and its principles Works ethically and shows respect for both professional and company values Effective Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with a proactive approach Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills .
