About The Role

This position is responsible for: expediting coffee-espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly and courteous manner.

Education & Experience

High school or GED.
Up to one month of relative experience or training.

Physical Requirements

Associate is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
Required to use certain mechanical, electrical, sharp, heat-producing, and other potentially dangerous equipment. while performing job responsibilities.

Knowledge & Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees of INSPIRA HEALTH.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written, or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
