About The Role
As a
Barista at Concord Hospitality
, you will connect with guests by providing friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely service. Your attention to detail, ability to multitask, and commitment to guest satisfaction will ensure a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every customer. In this role, you will prepare high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while also supporting food and beverage operations by serving guests and assisting tables as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized service and warmly greet guests
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to recipe and quality standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently
- Take food and beverage orders, answer menu questions, and make recommendations to guests
- Deliver food and beverages to guests and provide table service as needed during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, workstations, and equipment
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Stock coffee, beverage, food, and service supplies while monitoring inventory levels
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
- Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant team members to ensure a seamless guest experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous barista, restaurant, cashier, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) knowledge required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work varied hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy while handling multiple responsibilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
